George's Obsessions

(totally unMEGU related!)

MLP FiM FTW

I'm an eighteen year-old female in the United States Air Force; I graduated a semester early from High School (part of National BETA Club and National Honor Society, and a Library Aide for two years); and I love My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. It is violent. It is funny. And it is adorable. Don't argue with me. Those are all solid FACTS. Needlessly to say, Pinkie Pie is my favorite, with Fluttershy a close second. I've seen all of Season 1 three times, the entirety of Season 2 twice! (SEASON TWO IS FREAKISHLY AWESOME!)
If you refuse to watch them, I swear to you that you're missing out. My friends badgered me about it for two weeks before I gave in and I haven't looked back yet! It's nothing that bad, seriously--it's by  the creator of Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends! You know Timmy and Poof's voice in Fairly Odd Parents? TARA STRONG! She's also the voice main pony, Twilight Sparkle, and she plays numerous other roles in a bajillion TV shows! (Oh, I also know every word to every song in Season 1. I'm working on all of Season 2 :P)
To fans: SEASON THREE IS IN THE MAKING!

2. Traveling Dog Animol

I'll admit, I'm totally in love right now with a creative, cultural and CUTE new app~~! My Animol is adorable, and I'm disheartened that not more of my friends I live near have an iWhatever to breed with my Animol! The wonderful thing about the game? You don't ever have to pay a cent. In Traveling Dog Animol you can win the entire game with all achievements without ever needing to buy elixirs or other crap like that. When your Animol gains a level, you gain some of the special, but neccesary, Animol coins specifically for certain...walks? Basically, the entire game is as if you have this wonderfully intelligent (and completely cusimziable) dog that just happens to never talk to you, but loves you so much that he/she (YOU GET TO CHOOSE!!! WHAT'S UP WITH THAT MEGU?????) takes walks (that you don't really know about, but you pick where in Japan they travel to) in order to aquire unique items from the various citizens of Japan. The game is wonderful, when you get to your destination there is always a rather silly character awaiting you in the city or town. Everything from Kung Fu masters to Fairies. And every one of them tells you a teeny tidbit about the place and presents a problem (of which you give them an item to fix and complete the event) or a gift (of which you just walk happily away with!). They've only just added another update with another place! But where else can you go once you finish Japan?! I can't wait to find out, but I must finish exploring Japan first! I've learned so much, and had many laughs over this one. Try it! My name is flavoredonigiri (like usual) but there doesn't seem to be a search feature yet--the app is still under development! I'll be keeping pictures of mine here ^-^

3. Sgt. Frog

What wiki has to say since I don't have time right now to write! XD
"Sgt. Frog, known in Japan as Keroro Gunso (ケロロ軍曹 Keroro Gunsō?, Sergeant Keroro), is a manga series by Mine Yoshizaki. It was later serialized into a TV anime series directed by Junichi Sato. Both the anime and manga are comedies that follow the attempts of a platoon of frog-like alien invaders to conquer Earth. Sergeant Keroro, the titular character, is the leader of the platoon, but is at the mercy of a human family of three after he is captured while trying to hide in one of the family member's bedrooms. In both the manga and anime, Keroro is forced to do meaningless chores and errands for the family after his army abandons his platoon on Earth.
The series takes its comedy from a combination of wordplay (particularly puns and homophones), physical humor, situational irony, breaking of the fourth wall, and numerous pop culture references (especially to Gundam, Kamen Rider, Space Battleship Yamato, Dragon Ball, and Neon Genesis Evangelion and many others).[2] Various anime, games, manga, and other aspects of pop culture are parodied/referenced throughout the series as a bonus to older viewers. Both the manga and the anime are laden with pop-culture references, and even in the same story the references often vary wildly. The anime does not explicitly refer to Evangelion or other animations to which Bandai does not hold the copyrights, but only recreates the "feel" of famous scenes from these anime. The anime is much more detailed and direct in its Gundam references, however, since Bandai does hold rights to the Gundam franchise."
